Community Benefit
Who benefits from this work, and how directly? We prioritize organizations where support translates into tangible benefit for real people — not administrative overhead.
Potential Impact
What is the realistic potential for meaningful outcomes? We think about scale, leverage, and whether our support can make a difference that would not otherwise occur.
Sustainability
Is this organization building something that can last? We are interested in ventures that are developing sustainable models — not those that require perpetual rescue.
Responsible Use of Resources
How does the organization use the resources it receives? We look at the relationship between administrative costs and program delivery — and whether resources reach the people they are intended to serve.
Transparency
Does the organization publish meaningful information about its finances, operations, and outcomes? Transparency is a prerequisite for trust.
Evidence of Meaningful Results
Has this organization demonstrated that its approach actually works? We look for evidence — not just anecdotes — that the work produces the outcomes it claims.
Alignment with Our Values
